Life is busy.
Whether you're raising children, building a career, working long shifts, running your own business, caring for aging parents, chasing after an energetic dog, or simply trying to keep up with the demands of everyday life, it can feel like everyone and everything needs something from you.
By the time you finally have a moment to yourself, you're often running on empty.
If that's where you are today, I want you to know you're not alone.
So many women spend their days pouring into everyone else while quietly placing their own needs at the bottom of the list. Not because they don't value their health, but because life simply asks a lot of them.
The good news is that taking care of yourself doesn't have to mean finding an extra hour in your day.
You don't need a gym.
You don't need the perfect workout.
You don't even need the perfect schedule.
Twenty intentional minutes can improve your strength, increase your energy, reduce stress, and remind you that your health deserves a place in your life too.
That's exactly why I created these Kilter Workouts. They're designed for real women living real lives.

Kilter Workout #1 — The Busy Day Reset

Time: 20 Minutes
Equipment: None
Difficulty: Beginner to Intermediate
Focus: Full Body Strength
Complete 4 rounds of the following exercises:
  • 12 Bodyweight Squats
  • 10 Push-ups (wall, knees, or toes)
  • 10 Reverse Lunges each leg
  • 15 Glute Bridges
  • 30-Second Plank
Rest for about one minute between rounds.

This workout is perfect when your day has been full, but you still want to do something for yourself. It strengthens nearly every major muscle group while improving balance, stability, and core strength...all without needing any equipment.

Kilter Workout #2 — The Energy Booster

Time: 20 Minutes
Equipment: None
Difficulty: Beginner
Focus: Strength + Cardio
Set a timer for 40 seconds of work followed by 20 seconds of rest.
Complete 4 rounds.
  • Squats
  • Mountain Climbers (or march in place)
  • Walking Lunges
  • Incline Push-ups
  • Bear Hold or Plank

Move at a pace that feels challenging while still allowing you to maintain good form. Some days you'll move quickly, and other days you'll slow things down. Both are perfectly okay.
Showing up matters far more than moving fast.

Kilter Workout #3 — The Strong Foundation

Time: 20 Minutes
Equipment: One Dumbbell or Kettlebell
Difficulty: Intermediate
Focus: Full Body Strength
Complete 3-4 rounds.
  • 10 Goblet Squats
  • 10 Romanian Deadlifts
  • 10 Bent-Over Rows
  • 8 Overhead Presses
  • 12 Reverse Lunges
  • 30-Second Farmer Carry
Rest for about one minute between rounds.

These simple movements build practical, everyday strength that helps you navigate real life with more confidence. Whether you're lifting a toddler, carrying groceries, hauling equipment at work, moving feed bags on the farm, or loading luggage for your next adventure.

Kilter Workout #4 — The Kilter Power 20

Time: 20 Minutes
Equipment: One Dumbbell or Kettlebell
Difficulty: Intermediate
Focus: Strength + Conditioning
Work for 45 seconds, then rest for 15 seconds.
Complete 4 rounds.
  • Dumbbell or Kettlebell Swings (or Deadlifts if you're new to swings)
  • Goblet Squats
  • Push Press
  • Bent-Over Rows
  • Suitcase Carry (switch hands halfway through)
Focus on moving well rather than moving perfectly. This workout is designed to leave you feeling stronger and more energized.

Progress Over Perfection

One of the biggest misconceptions about health is that every workout has to be your best workout.
Real life doesn't work that way.
Some days you'll feel strong and motivated. Other days you'll be squeezing in twenty minutes before work, during your lunch break, or while dinner is in the oven. Heck, I used to do pushups in the bathroom at my first job, just to get something in! I know... gross!
Every one of those workouts counts.
Your body responds to consistency.
Every walk, workout and healthy food choice.
And not surprisingly, every kind word, thought and accolade you give yourself.
Every small decision is a vote for the life you're creating.
Those choices may not seem significant today, but together they become something incredibly powerful.

Wherever life finds you today, I hope you remember this:
You don't have to earn the right to take care of yourself.
Your worth isn't measured by how much you accomplish in a day, how many people depend on you, or how much you give before you finally slow down.
You matter too.
Your health matters.
Your future matters.
So choose one workout.
Twenty minutes.
You deserve to feel strong enough to fully enjoy the life you're working so hard to build.
Years from now, you probably won't remember the emails you answered, the laundry you folded, or the extra task you squeezed into an already busy day.
But you'll never regret investing twenty minutes in your health.
One small choice at a time.
One workout at a time.
One day at a time.
I'm cheering for you every step of the way.
