 What Is Coaching?

​If you've ever wished someone could help you sort through all of the health and fitness advice out there and simply tell you where to start, coaching may be exactly what you're looking for.

Coaching isn't about someone telling you what to do or expecting you to be perfect. It's about having a trusted partner who helps you create a plan that fits your life, your goals, and your challenges.
There is no judgment here. Ever.
No impossible expectations. No "all or nothing" mindset.
Just practical guidance, honest conversations, and consistent support.

Why Work With a Coach?

Most people already know they should move more, eat better, sleep more, and manage stress.
The difficult part isn't knowing what to do.
It's figuring out how to make those things happen consistently while balancing work, family, responsibilities, unexpected setbacks, and everyday life.
That's where coaching makes the difference.
Sometimes we all need someone who can step back, see the bigger picture, help us create a realistic plan, celebrate our victories, and help us navigate the obstacles that inevitably come along.
You don't have to figure everything out on your own.

How Coaching Works

Every person who works with me is different.

Your goals, schedule, fitness level, health history, experience, and lifestyle are unique, so your coaching should be too.

Together, we'll:
  • Talk about where you are today.
  • Identify what's working and what isn't.
  • Clarify what you truly want to accomplish.
  • Build a simple, realistic plan that fits your life.
  • Focus on small, meaningful habits that add up over time.
  • Adjust as life changes instead of giving up when things don't go perfectly.

Depending on your goals, your coaching may include fitness, nutrition, healthy habits, stress management, accountability, education, or simply having someone in your corner who genuinely wants to see you succeed.

We'll use the Kilter Coaching app to keep everything organized, making it easy to view your workouts, track progress, communicate, and stay focused between sessions.

I believe it should support your life.
Real health is about building strength, confidence, energy, resilience, and habits that allow you to show up for the people and experiences that matter most.
Small actions repeated consistently will always outperform short bursts of perfection.
My job is to give you the knowledge, confidence, and tools to make healthy decisions long after we're finished working together.
